Training Details:

Duration: depends on type of training.

Types of Training: Novice, Experienced or Refresher.

Delegates: Up to 4 delegates max.

Location: Company Site Only.

Certification: Delegates receive an AITT Accredited Certificate.

  • Selection, care and storage of equipment.
  • Selecting the correct slinging methods.
  • Rating and derating of slings
  • Load and weight assessment.

  • Lifting and lowering various loads.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Practical application.
  • Theory test.

Types of Training:

Novice Training: Is for individuals who have no experience of operating a slinger and signaller.

Experienced Training: Is for individuals who are regularly operating a slinger and signaller truck without a certification or the certificate is over 5 years.

Refresher Training: Is for individuals looking to refresher current skills. The certification must be within 5 years.
