Certification: Delegates will receive a certificate for a First Aid at Work – which is valid for three years from the date of achievement.

This First Aid at Work training course provides delegates with all the essential knowledge and practical skills required to become a designated First Aider, a significant responsibility within any organisation. Through an engaging and comprehensive three-day programme, participants are equipped to manage a broad spectrum of first aid emergencies, enabling them to respond to critical situations with confidence, speed, and effectiveness.
In line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, employers have a duty to ensure there is adequate equipment, appropriately trained personnel, and suitable facilities to ensure that all employees can receive immediate attention if an injury occurs. On completing this training delegates will receive a certificate in First Aid which meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.
In addition, All first aid training delivered will be up to date regarding and protocol changes that may have arisen.

FAQ’s for First Aid Training
What is the difference between Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and First Aid at Work (FAW)?
First the length of training, the EFAW is 1 day and the FAW is 3 days. Secondly the EFAW is at a level where delegates are qualified to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. As first aid at work (FAW) delegates are qualified to EFAW level but they are also able to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses.
How long is the certificate valid?
The Emergency First Aid at Work certificate is valid for three years from the date of achievement. It is advised to renew your certificate 28 days before the expiry date.
What do we need if the if the training is at our site?
Please provide a training room large enough for all delegates and the trainer, with space for practical CPR exercises using training manikins. The room will also need a table for the trainer’s laptop and a TV for the presentation. If a TV is unavailable, we can bring a projector, provided there is a plain wall to project onto.
What should delegates keep in mind?
The course includes a practical CPR exercise on a training manikin, which may require you to kneel on the floor. Please wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear. If you may have difficulty working on the floor, let us know before the course so we can discuss your needs. The course also covers realistic emergency scenarios, which some people may find distressing.
