Course Details:
Duration: depends on type of training.
Types of Training: Novice, Experienced or Refresher.
Delegates: Up to 4 delegates max.
Location: Company Site Only.
Certification: Delegates receive an AITT Accredited Certificate.
The Course Covers:
- Have an understanding of the current Health and Safety regulations.
- PUWER and LOLER
- Selection, care and storage of equipment.
- Selecting the correct slinging methods.
- Rating and derating of slings
- Load and weight assessment.
- Safe practices.
- Signalling methods.
- Lifting and lowering various loads.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Practical application.
- Theory test.
Training Categories:
Novice Training: Is for individuals who have no experience of operating a slinger and signaller.
Experienced Training: Is for individuals who are regularly operating a slinger and signaller truck without a certification or the certificate is over 5 years.
Refresher Training: Is for individuals looking to refresher current skills. The certification must be within 5 years.
