The Training Covers:

      • Pallet Truck operators safety including legal compliance.
      • LOLER and PUWER regulations.
      • Pre-use inspection, including fault reporting procedures.
      • Starting, moving and stopping the truck.
      • The functions of the pallet truck and the rated capacity plate.
      • Control and Instruments.
      • How to maneuver the pallet truck, including in tight spaces.
      • Pallet Truck load stability and weight assessment.
      • Stacking and de stacking, in racking and free standing.
      • Loading and unloading.
      • Handling Laden and unladen pallets.
      • The operation of hydraulics controls.
      • Onsite training provides workplace familiarisation.

The Training Catergories:

Novice Training: Is for individuals who have no experience of operating a truck.

Experienced Training: Is for individuals who are regularly operating a truck without a certification or the certificate is over 5 years.

Refresher Training: Is for individuals looking to refresher current skills. The certification must be within 5 years.

Conversion Training: Is for individuals who are looking to gain training on a different truck, converting from one truck to another. The truck certification must be within 5 years.
