Assessment Details:
Procedure: Our Consultant will complete an assessment of the site and provide you with a bespoke manual which will include noise readings as well as a report with our recommendations.
The report will include where hearing protection should be worn and indicated as to it being mandatory or optional as well as the level of hearing protection required within all the areas of the tested environment.
Regulatory Requirements: The UK has stringent regulations governing workplace noise, primarily enforced through the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.
These regulations mandate that employers must prevent or reduce risks to health and safety from noise at work.
Completing Noise Assessments
Our noise assessment expert will visit your premises to assess the following elements:
- Provide recommendations to reduce noise at source
- Evaluation of the assessments in the areas
- Plan of the areas where readings were taken (including noise levels)
- Employees daily/weekly noise exposure level
- Provide details of the sources of noise
- Provide tables of noise readings
- Measure frequency levels
- Provide a list of suitable hearing protection
