Looking back at Milne Safety

As you may know, Peter Field started Milne Safety in 1978, with initially focusing on selling chemicals to industries around Norfolk and Suffolk.

In a short period of time Peter branched out into health and safety training and consultancy services, supporting companies in Wymondham and the surrounding areas. As the business grew Peter, recruited David into the family business in 1987. David initially worked on the chemical side, though in time progressed into health and safety, where he continues to build strong relationships and offers ongoing support in all things health and safety.

Milne Safety has been dedicated to delivering practical and effective health and safety solutions, tailoring our services to the specific requirements of each client. We pride ourselves in listening, ensuring we offer comprehensive support for all companies big and small.

Reflecting on 2025

• We have introduced online training for both Health and Safety and HR
• Our HR advisory service has grown, with numerous new clients, advising companies on the new requirements to the employment law/bill
• We continue to deliver forklift training and the growing demand is keeping our trainers busier than ever.
• Our forklift accrediting audits for AITT and RTITB were outstanding, 100% Pass rate.
• The chemical side of  business is ever growing, with new products being introduced and a new and improved chemical website, detailing all the products
• Lastly we have delivered our highest number of first aid courses.
