Assessment Details:

Procedure: Our Consultant will visit the site and complete an assessment on the relevant equipment in operation within your organisation. Following the visit a manual will be provided detailing the readings and any recommendations for improvements.

HAVS (Hand – Arm Vibration Syndrome) can arise from the use of handheld machines including;

  • Grinders and hammer drills.
  • Hand-guided machinery, such as lawnmowers and plate compactors.
  • Hand-fed machines, such as pedestal grinders and forge hammers.

HAVS Assessments can be carried in accordance with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 to assess the employees exposure to equipment that may cause Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS).
