Delegates: Up to 12 people max
Location: We can deliver the training at your company site or attend an open course at our Training Centre.
Certification: Delegates will receive a certificate for First Aid at Work Re-qualification, valid for three years
Course Covers:
Our 2-day First Aid at Work Requalification training course is intended for individuals who have completed a First Aid at Work qualification and needs to be renewed. Please be aware if the current certificate is over the 3 years and 3 months, then the individual is required to complete the 3 day First Aid at Work training course.
The course refreshes and updates essential first aid knowledge and practical skills, ensuring delegates are fully prepared to respond to workplace emergencies confidently, promptly, and effectively.

- Legalities, responsibilities of being a designated First Aider
- How to deal with an unresponsive casualty
- The protocol involved in fractures and spinal injures
- The resuscitation procedure
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) awareness
- The assessment of the situation
- How to control bleeding
- What to do regarding shock and an anaphylaxis reaction
- How to response to a heart attack incident
- The protocol involving sprains and strains
- How to treat poisoning
- How to deal with an asthma attack
- Using bandages and bandaging
- Looking at diabetes and it’s effects
- What to do when choking
- How to response to a stroke
- Head, eye and chest injuries and how to deal with them
- How to treat burns
- What to do – epilepsy
