Course: Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Location: This training can be held at your Company Site or here at Milne Safety
Certification: Delegates will receive a certificate for FAA Level 3 Award for Emergency Paediatric First Aid, which is valid for three years from the date of achievement.

Our NUCO accredited Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is specific for individuals who are responsible for the care of children and babies. The training provides delegates with all the relevant knowledge and skills to deal with a range of paediatric first aid conditions and incidents. Delegates will acquire the practical competence required to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid situations.
Areas Covered Include;
- The responsibilities regarding the role of the Paediatric First Aider
- Conducting a primary survey
- The resuscitation procedure
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) awareness
- Ho to deal with wounds and bleeding
- How to treat for shock and a seizure
- What to do when choking
- How to treat minor injuries
- The recovery position
