Noise Assessment

The Control of Noise at Work Regulations are designed to protect workers from exposure to noise, which is still a problem in many industries. It is estimated they will extend protection to around one million new workers, in addition to the same number protected under current law.

Noise can induce deafness or persistent ringing in the ears (tinnitus). Once damage is done it is permenant, and may affect quality of life, but it can be prevented.

Milne Marketing can visit your premises to carry out a Noise Assessment, which will include the following:-

  • Employees daily/weekly noise dose exposure level
  • Table of sources of noise
  • Print out of noise readings and frequency readings
  • Provide a list if suitable hearing protection
  • Plan of area where readings were taken (including noise levels)
  • Evaluation of the assessments in the area
  • Provide recommendations to reduce noise
