Safety Policies

All companies who employ five persons or more have a legal obligation under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, to provide a written Safety Policy which sets out the company’s responsibilities and arrangements for safe systems and procedures at work. The policy will include the responsibilities and arrangements, which are to be carried out and this policy and any revisions must be brought to the attention of the employees.

We will visit into your company premises and carry out a Safety Survey and subsequently prepare a Safety Policy, including a draft policy, specifically for your working environment or revise your existing policy if necessary.

Safety Surveys

This particular service is offered on an in-company basis only. We will visit into your company premises and complete a confidential Safety Survey covering all aspects of your working environment, advising you of any necessary alterations, adjustments and revision with regard to Health and Safety Law.
This particular consultation combines readily with the updating and revision of existing Safety Policies and the implementation of new Safety Policies.

Risk Assessments

The following are some key points taken from the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations Approved Code of Practice 1999.
Every employer shall make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to the Health and Safety of employees to which they are exposed whilst they are at work.
Where the employer employs five or more employees, they shall record the significant findings of the assessment and any group of their employees identified by the assessment as being at risk.
The consultants will provide suitable risk assessment training, as well as assist and guide your nominated personnel through the compilation and review of the company Risk Assessments.

COSHH Assessments

COSHH Regulations require that no work, which is liable to expose anyone to substances hazardous to health, shall be carried out unless an assessment has been made.
If required our Consultant can visit your company premises and carry out a survey and provide the service of completing your assessments, including providing records, assessment forms, etc.
